How to use the library
開室時間Library Hours
火 (Tue)・水 (Wed)・木 (Thu)・金 (Fri)・土 (Sat) 10:00～17:00 ／ 金 (Fri) 10:00〜20:00
休室日Closed
日 (Sun)・月 (Mon)・休日 (National Holidays)・年末年始 (New Year Holiday period)

The library may be closed occasionally, such as during Nagoya University’s summer holidays. In such cases, we will announce it on this website.
入室手続きEntering the library
カウンターで入室手続きをしてください。
Please present a valid ID (Nagoya University student/staff ID, library card) at the circulation desk when entering the library. If you do not have a valid student/staff ID or library card or are not a member of Nagoya University, please complete the necessary paperwork to enter the library.

図書や雑誌等、自由に手にとってご覧いただけます。利用が終わりましたら、元の位置にお返しください。
Visitors are free to read any material on the shelves. Please return the materials to their original place.
貸出Borrowing books
名古屋大学の学生証、職員証等、及び「中央図書館利用証」（岐阜大学学生・教職員カードは除く）で貸出が可能です。これらのカードをお持ちでない方は、「GRL利用証」を作成いただき、そのカードで貸出が可能です。
※「GRL利用証」の作成は、カウンターで「GRL利用証発行申請書」にご記入いただき、利用証発行までは約1週間かかります。

Nagoya University staff and students can borrow items from the GRL with a Nagoya University ID card.
We also accept the Central Library Card (except the Gifu University ID card).
* If you do not have a valid NU ID or Central Library Card, you may apply for a GRL library card at the circulation desk. Library cards can be picked up approximately one week after application.

貸出冊数・貸出期間Loan policy
5冊以内、2週間
You may borrow a total of 5 books. Books are borrowed for 2 weeks.
* Books in the Tamae Mizuta Library and the archives and collection cannot be borrowed and are to be used only in the library, except when taken out for photocopying.

返却Returning books
図書室ドア前の返却ボックスに返却してください。
※閉室中でも、カフェ・ブラン開店中は図書室ドア前の返却ボックスに返すことができます。

Return books to the circulation desk during regular library hours. Otherwise, drop the books off at the return box by the front door.
